Bookpurnong Hill Block 267 Red Table Wine 1999

We're sorry, but this product is not currently available.

This full-bodied wine is a blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Petit Verdot and Shiraz and exhibits an intense amalgam of berry fruits, spicy oak and complex overtones. These qualities are reinforced by a rich mouth filling palate with layers of velvety tannins and a smooth lingering finish.

Wine SpectatorTasty stuff, soft, supple and generous with its blackberry, violet, vanilla and spice flavors, which echo nicely on the silky, round finish. Drink now through 2004. 750 cases made.

Wine EnthusiastThough it has pleasing light blueberry aromas on the nose, and smoke and black grape flavors on the palate, this Cab-Petit Verdot-Merlot-Shiraz blend has a slightly offputting cream-cheese aroma as well. Mouthfeel is a little zingy, as if this blend has a few Zin genes, too. The finish is medium-long and more oaky than fruity.
