The consistently fine Right Bank cuvee is an homage to Bordeaux's Pomerols and St.-Emilions. Usually a core blend of 60% Cabernet Franc and 40% Merlot, there are approximately 625 cases of this terrific offering. Like all Anderson's wines, it spends 24-30 months in French oak before being bottled without filtration. Performing sensationally well, the deep ruby/purple-hued 2002 Right Bank offers aromas of espresso roast, white chocolate, black cherries, cassis, mocha, and caramel. It possesses terrific richness, a supple, sweet attack and mid-palate, ripe tannin, and a long, heady, opulent finish. Drink it over the next 10-15 years.
