Grgich Hills Cabernet Sauvignon 2014
|Region||California, Napa Valley|
Wine EnthusiastThis wine has a high-octane opening of power and concentration, the body following in big style and youthful oak. Woody, dusty and herbal, it has a richness and softness to the texture.
Wine SpectatorMedium-weight and deep, offering notes of cedar, dried berry, sage and underbrush. Ends with oaky tannins and a clipped aftertaste. Drink now through 2026. 15,282 cases made.
Wine AdvocateThe 2014 Cabernet Sauvignon Napa is fruity and shows some acidity that hasn't blended into the wine and finishes with a certain leanness. It's not one of the better efforts I've seen from this winery.
