Very ripe tropical fruits and appealing pear, apple and spice notes show well in this nicely balanced wine. Good acidity plays a solid supporting role here. The toasty oak holds the almost overripe fruit in check-it's strong from the mid palate through the handsome butter-and-apple finish.
