This is brimming with steeped fig, black currant and plum fruit, inlaid liberally with lively bramble, sweet tobacco and roasted apple wood notes. Shows heft and weight, but delivers bright cut through the finish. Rock-solid. Best from 2020 through 2032.

A robustly styled wine with a depth of jammy plum and cherry, this is also bursting in earthy mushroom and forest tones, along with a distinct hit of cigar box. Refined tannins surround the soft rich midpalate followed by prominent oak.

Deep garnet-purple colored with a nose of baked plums, crème de cassis, earth and herbs with a waft of asphalt, the medium to full-bodied 2015 Cabernet Sauvignon Rutherford Reserve shows baked fruit and chewy, rather rustic tannins, finishing a little abruptly.
