A solid core of cherry, currant and blueberry fruit is shaded by earth, mineral and spice notes in this vibrant red. Balanced and resonant, with hints of cinnamon and nutmeg on the extended finish. Best from 2021 through 2036. 300 cases imported.

This well-structured wine shows the combination of rich black fruit and tannins that is the hallmark of this appellation. Join that with the ripeness of the vintage, and this is a wine that can age. Drink from 2021.

The 2015 Vosne-Romanée Village offers up a pretty nose of plum, red berries, hoisin and potpourri. On the palate, the wine is medium to full-bodied, sapid and quite firmly framed, with a rich chassis of tannin that clamps down on the finish and a nice core of fruit. Right now this is quite tight-knit and hard to read, and if everything comes into place my score will seem conservative, as there are some potentially fine raw materials here.
