Broad and fleshy on the palate, offering concentrated blackberry and cherry flavors enlivened by a peppery nuance that emerges on the back half. Closes smooth and long; plush tannins shape lingering dark berry fruit and cola notes.

Firm and chewy, with a gleaming core of apricot-accented blackberry and Szechuan peppercorn flavors that play against the tannins without becoming fazed. Has presence and persistence, but needs cellaring to calm the texture. Best from 2019 through 2024. 3,306 cases made.
