The 2018 Hautes Côtes de Beaune was taken from barrel. It has a perfumed bouquet of raspberry preserve and light strawberry aromas, demonstrating a little more depth than the Bourgogne Rouge. The citric palate is medium-bodied with chalky tannins and a steely finish. Give it a year in bottle.
