Balanced, light and versatile, and likely a good foil for cocktails. Smoky fragrance with hints of caramel and dried apricots. The golden color, medium weight and flavors pleasantly evoke maple syrup and caramel at first, although zingy, oaky flavors soon follow. With ice, the wood becomes more pronounced. A nice, smooth and dry finish lingers but doesn't overstay its welcome.
