The 2017 Signature Series McLaren Vale GSM features slightly less Grenache and more Mourvèdre than the previous vintage, with the final blend coming in at 40% Grenache, 33% Shiraz and 27% Mourvèdre. Notes of dried spices and roasted meat are backed by strawberry and raspberry fruit, while the medium-bodied palate is lined with softly dusty tannins and bright acids mark the finish.
