As to the Pinot Noirs, the 2019 Pinot Noir Gap's Crown Vineyard comes from a cooler site in the Petaluma Gap and offers attractive spiced cherry and framboise fruits as well as sappy herbs and foresty, earthy, spicy nuances. It's medium-bodied, rounded, and charming on the palate, and I love its overall balance and character, although it's not going to make incredibly old bones.

The 2019 Pinot Noir Gap's Crown Vineyard has a nose of muddled red and black fruits with earthy accents and a touch of orange peel. The palate is full-bodied, juicy, ripe and not unpleasant, but it lacks definition of flavor and finishes a tad dilute. 229 cases produced.
