Our Estate vineyard produces a Grenache Noir with depth and typicity. The warm California sunshine allows this wine to achieve ideal ripeness while the significant diurnal shifts endow the grapes with a distinct freshness and lively fruit flavors. The palate is rich and lush with flavors of black cherry, red currant, brambly red berries complemented by hints of cocoa, espresso, allspice, shiso leaf, and a gravelly minerality. A perfect pair for roast duck, grilled red meats or if you're feeling decadent, Argentinian mollejas!

The 2017 Grenache Noir has a unique character-lean and rustic but pleasantly so. Pale garnet, it's reminiscent of Nebbiolo, with delicate red and black berries and notes of tar, earth, burnt orange peel, Angostura bitters and dried flowers. The palate is medium-bodied with a pleasantly rustic graininess and dried fruit character, and it finishes with juicy uplift and spicy accents. 435 cases produced.

The 2017 Grenache Noir is beautiful, with plenty of dried strawberry fruit and complex spice and loamy soil notes. This medium-bodied, balanced effort has nicely integrated oak, ripe tannins, and a great finish. Drink it over the coming 5-6 years.
